What this site keeps, and what it does not.
Short version: no cookies, no advertising trackers, your checklist stays in your browser, and nothing about you is sent anywhere unless you choose to fill in the optional form.
Your checklist progress
When you tick a box on a checklist, the site saves which items you ticked in your browser's local storage, so your progress is still there when you come back and so the module checklists and the full checklist stay in step. It is stored only on your device. It is never sent to Scribe Media or anyone else, and it is not linked to your name or email. You can clear it any time with the "Reset all ticks" button on the checklist page, or by clearing your browser's site data. If your browser blocks local storage, the checklist still works but forgets your ticks when you leave the page.
Counting visits and tool use
To know whether the course is useful, the site counts events such as "a page was viewed" or "someone used the checklist." Each count is stored only as a total per day. No cookie is set, and no IP address, device ID or other identifier is stored with the counts.
Links that carry campaign tags
If you arrived from a link with campaign tags in the address (such as utm_source), the site keeps those tags in session storage for the visit and sends them with the optional form if you submit it, so Scribe knows which link brought you. Links from this site to scribemedia.com are tagged to show they came from here.
If you send the optional form
Your name, email, optional phone number and the page you sent it from are sent to Scribe Media and stored in Scribe's customer system (HubSpot). Scribe uses them to get in touch with you and as described in the Scribe Media privacy policy. Your checklist ticks are not included. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Fonts and hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare and loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web server, these receive standard request information such as your IP address in order to deliver the page.
